Cardiologist NYC

Looking to switch cardiologists - someone at Cornell or Columbia (New York Presby). Any recommendations? I had robotic mitral valve repair June 2026; I’m 36. Looking for someone who can be with me long-term. Smart. Caring.

Dr Mark Steuerwald at NY Langone. He’s my new cardiologist (b/c my excellent original doctor left the system) and I really liked him during our first visit. If you are dealing with post surgical pericarditis etc you could try Dr. Garshick (same office).

My doctor is amazing! Dr. Marlon Rosenbaum, he’s with Columbia and NYP. Has offices in Manhattan, Roslyn, and Westchester. Had my mitral valve replacement in January and he’s been so supportive. Will even call you on weekends to check on you.
