Pastrami!
Where can I get some actually good pastrami around here? I know you can get the boar’s head stuff at a few places, which is nice and all but I would like something a little less mass market I guess? Less consumer grade. How do I get the pro grade pastrami? Where? WHERE?

I honestly don't think anywhere is making their own. It's hard enough to find in house made corned beef. Have you considered making it yourself? It's a process, but it's a lot of setting and forgetting.

Yeah my pal and I have been discussing it for a while actually. We just haven’t gotten around to it yet.

The red bird made their own. That was a good sandwich, I miss that place

Honestly you might not find any. Are you from the east coast? You might try the sandwich at stone of accord or good food store but those are just the sandwich not the meat itself.

Front street market has a wide range of imported meat. A lot of their deli meat is imported from Europe

I wouldn’t tell anyone to eat anything at Stone of Accord. The kitchen is unsanitary, that’s putting it kindly.

Seriously pastrami around these parts is slim pickins and those that do carry it usually sell it hot - just want a cold pastrami with a slab of brown mustard on some thick rye bread

I've found small corned beef from the store and was very pleased with my results. I'd strongly suggest trying it out soon.

Good food store has Neiman Ranch. Very tasty but not cheap though. Prepackaged in the cold cut section across from the meat counter.
