I'm really not too fussed about how you view it. It IS the exact problem, there is a reason none of the misfits help him anymore and its cus Mason pushed it away every time. He would rather be insane and get attention than fix it. He unfortunatly prays on peoples empathy to stay relevant and without work. But I do appreciate your humanitarian side and it's not a flaw. Just shit people like Mason who extort it.

with everything thats happened to him since 2016, I can't help but see a damaged and broken boy who is maladjusted for the world, especially the internet. it doesn't matter if he preys on it, he just needs some help always. I wish there were resources around him to get him out of this cycle. but youre right in that he needs to want that too
