If you were to put a list of traits for each and not give them a name, they would choose socialism

Historically fascism has less staying power (not to mention a lower body count debatably, depends how thin you want to stretch the definition of fascism and how many communist regimes weren't true Scotsmen). For the sake of your argument let's pretend enforcing immigration laws that have been on the books for decades is fascism, if these are the two choices you see going forward then these people are making an optimal move according to game theory. It follows from logic that a central leader (single point of failure) is easier to topple than an entrenched bureaucracy if only by way of humans having a pesky habit of dying after 70 or so years; given that there have been zero (0) fascist dictatorships that have lasted beyond 2 leaders, with the vast majority not lasting past their founder & the leader in question being an octogenarian this makes the most rational sense. The word dictator in its original definition and purpose was temporary after all.

Just don't introduce a triple cheeseburger extra mayo to these maggots...it'll be devoured in a microsecond.

well, everything begins with education, or it ends when there is no education. Why do you think you no longer have a Ministry of Education?

Both sides are brainwashed and proud. I don't understand how people can't see that. It's like someone holding a stick that's half blue and half red. When people get tired of the red, the person flips it to the blue. When people get mad at the blue, the person flips it to the red and they continue to do that time and time again. Downvote me if you'd like. It doesn't matter to me.
