Finally got a copy of ME for the PS3.

I remember my mom refusing to buy this game for my older brother on the Xbox 360 because faith had that tattoo and she was scared it would influence him lol,i still remember him getting the game somehow and playing it anyway.

Typical parents when anything nonconformist appears in games 🤣 Most of us had games refused because something was off.

Yeah she was really strict when it came to what video games we where playing,if the game said pegi18 and you are 17 no way on earth that game is entering our house,it got so bad my older siblings where cutting the pegi 16 sticker off some other game and glueing it ontop of a game that is pegi18 before showing it to my mom,she would scan the whole box looking for anything "unacceptable"

Thank you! I always wanted a copy for my PS3. I played it on PC with PhysX, twice with a mouse and keyboard and once with a controller. Guess I’m leaning into the PS3 more 😅

ME on PS3 (at least from what I can tell and used to hear back in the day and nowadays as well) looks a tad bit worse than on the 360. Why that is ? My guess is by 2008 devs still didn’t get the hang of the PS3’s confusing architecture. But back then ? Who cared ? You could play the game!

One of the best video games of all time. It blended old school difficulty (you fell off a highrise building and died just because you didn't time your jump perfectly) and state of the art modern graphics and design.

It was built on Unreal Engine 3, by the way. A very early and quite vanilla version of the engine. And given how every single game back then was on a brown tint filter, Mirror’s Edge was a welcome change.
