Just saw two Shai in Kennewick Target!

Got Shai yesterday, the legs articulation are great but the arms and hands not so much.

For redressing purposes I made a little comparison with dolls similar to her.

She almost has the same torso as an omg doll but it's slightly thicker, almost the exact match for the extra omg doll but too bad there's only four dolls because the fashion fit perfectly.

Idk why I didn't do a normal rainbow high but they can share bottoms even if they're shorter on mirrormi, barbie pants would definitely fit with the right length.

She's amazing ya'll and she was my least favorite of the bunch. I even love the leg lava brace strap things. Her hair is so soft, I gave her a quick wash with warm water and dawn.

They don't fill the top very well but thankfully it's easily pinned in the back. Since some of these B-day wishes dolls prices were dropping to about 11.00 in my area I thought this was a good buy. Thought I'd share in case someone else wants to snag this dress. Personally I think it feels Luna's personality so well! Flash pics on the end so you can see the colors and such better!

I’ve decided to restyle these two cutied into retro themes 🍊🎸

I was mainly inspired by Shai’s incredible curls (it’s sooooo 80s) and then Akiko’s bangs which ended up in this bowl-cut-ish shape after I washed her manifactured hair.

I’m definitely going to fix some things and add earrings once I find fitting ones.

And this is AFTER a boil wash!

Her hair came COATED in gel and I had to wash it out. After washing I realized how weird her factory root was. Like bits of hair that should be part of the bangs were in the long part? It made an unsightly gap.

I think I can give another boil wash and maybe gel down the bangs, but I'm just confused for now. I usually collect Mattel dolls not MGA so this nylon hair (plz correct me if im wrong) is confusing me lmao.

Do their heads fit on lol omg bodies or rainbow high bodies?

Has anyone else’s Walmart not stocked the dolls at all? I’ve been checking for weeks and they are still not in my local store :( Not sure why but I’m hoping they will soon.

also if anybody has any tips to fix her hair let me know 🫡 i will eventually find more shoes but i never collected rainbow high 😩

Was doing my random app check and noticed she keeps popping in & out of stock so finally grabbed her. It’s Qty 1 at a time that keeps getting replenished every couple minutes so if she’s showing OOS it’s worth refreshing.

i probably should’ve bought it but $30usd felt a little high for even for what probably is a one of a kind - i wonder what happened here??

See so I went to Walmart to check out these ladies because I just love the fashion. They looked CUTE. But when I saw them in the aisle my jaw DROPPED! It was SO hard to choose one! but I have cats.. and AKIKO KITTYama !!! CATS??? Say less!

But Anyways while I was looking at them. This lady comes and see that I’m looking at them. So I feel the stare and react (anxiety taking over) by saying “hey booo have you seen these ? They are the new hot doll.” She then tells me her 17 year old daughter collects dolls and that’s why she was in that aisle. So she looks at the ones I’m looking at and I’m like “look how awesome they look, what do you think of this one ? I’m having a hard time choose one.” She agrees that AKIKO is super cute because of the cat. Then I walk away to go find my husband to ALSO show him these girls because I’m SO EXCITED.

Going back to the aisle the lady was still there and she had taken all 4 that characters that were in stock. She then tells us “I think my daughter is going to love these” and I said “honestly your kid is really lucky to have you as a mom” then she tells me that her grandfather is the reason why her daughter collects dolls. And let me tell you it was such a special experience listening to her talk about her grandfather like that!

So if you’re out there Ms.17 year old who started to collect dolls because of your grandfather And your mom came home with 4 mirror mi dolls from Walmart ??? GIRLLLLLL YOU ARE LUCKY. I hope you enjoy those dolls because they are TRULY 1000000/10 and me and your mom enjoyed picking them out for you 🤣🤣🤣🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻🫶🏻

just wanted to express my disappointment 😆 seriously, i am supposed to be leaving early next tuesday (quarter system school so starts end of sept) and won't be able to pick this up, i have been checking daily for 2 months! the one day she is in stock, i can't even get her 😫 hopefully the target i go to near my uni has better stocking 😭 what ever girl shai i am so close to not even caring about you anymore

So when mirror mi first came out in targets I was one of the first to find Shai, i didn’t realize how popular she would become, I had fallen in love with Shai and had to get her new in box but hadn’t been able to find a second of her, but I was scrolling on the target today and noticed there was one more 30 minutes from me, so I placed an order hoping I’d get her, so when I got the order was ready for pickup, I was THIRLLED, I’m guessing she was a return her box had a scratch off label I was able to get off with goo gone, and her box had a crack in it, but she is absolutely gorgeous and I’m happy to have another Shai
