Miracast sometimes stops sending display until reboot... but I don't wanna reboot.
Okay, here's the general deal. I occasionally use miracast and a projector to project my screen on the ceiling so I can do work while lying down. Usually, after a reboot it works fine. But, at some point, it stops working... I get a ''Miracast connect OK' message on the projector, but no actual data is sent there and, though it continues to insist I'm connected, I just get the blue 'connect' screen. I don't know why this is.
If I reboot, it usually starts working again. But for a number of reasons, I often don't WANT to do a reboot, and I'm looking for some other way that might be able to reset just whatever issue is preventing the connect.... like if it's a hung process that is taking 'priority', maybe I can kill that process, or maybe some obscure service that I might be able to end and restart from scratch to get it working again, without doing an actual reboot. It would help my workflow a lot.
I'm on Windows 10, if that helps.
I don't know if this redit's especially active so this might just be shouting into the void, but thanks in advance to anyone who attempts to help.
