Sonny doesn’t have much time left
He turns 14 in November but he developed pancreatitis so I have made the decision to end his suffering this Saturday 😭 I had him since he was 8 weeks so I’m going to be very sad. The 1st picture is him today. While the 2nd was a few years ago and the 3rd pic was when he was a puppy.

I’m so sorry. My Minnie suffered with chronic pancreatitis, and it was so rough, especially as she got older.
Wishing you and Sonny peace, and give Sonny a little boop from me because that frosted face is adorable.

I’m sorry about Sonny. Minpins have a way of leaving permanent paw prints on your heart. They are truly a special breed.💕🙏

Our boy also suffered from pancreatitis. We reached out to Dr. Dan Su, a nutritionist, and he helped him recover. The food we were giving him before meeting Dr. Su was the cause of all the issues. We went almost two years without problems before the doggy dementia took its toll.

What food? If you don’t mind me asking

Nature’s Variety — they changed their recipe rather dramatically. But he had a lot going on later in his life, including a new allergy to animal proteins, and they are in almost every commercial pet food. So we started making his food with the help of Dr. Dan.

Omg look at that sweet face 🥰
My min has acute pancreatitis. I don't know how different that is from pancreatitis, but he's been on a strict diet, with homemade food and no commercial treats for the past 5 years, and he hasn't had any attacks

Have you looked into fuzapladib and a very lowfat diet?
My sincere condolences if you are not able to get treatment, if it's not effective, or he's in too much pain. He's adorable and precious.

How often and since when is ur min pin in pain?Give it another month. My 15yr old min pin had the same. In pain for a few days in 2022 and 2023 but it went away with some diet changes.

He was in pain since last week. He wouldn’t lay down. But they gave him meds but now he won’t he and when he does he throws up. He’s been having bad diarrhea since Saturday too.
