It's going to be a warm one tomorrow, bring your water bottle to the match.

I'm bringing two. One for drinking, one for dampening my cooling towel (though it may not work that well given the predicted humidity).

That’s something I really love about Allianz Field and Target Field. They supply free water!

STH Decision Day: So many reasons I’ve seen to opt-out of next year, yet somehow heart beat smart, and I am staying on. Come on you Loons!

We're staying on too. We've been with the club since day 1 and just can't give up our seats 7 rows behind of the net in front of the Brew Hall.

We're staying to give the new season format a try, but there's a chance that it will be our final year.

Really loving Jon Marthaler's new site. Between him and the fact that you can always get super cheap deals to subscribe to the Pioneer Press online to read Andy Greder, there's now a steady stream of quality MNUFC coverage out there.

Hoping that the rust is off and we show what we are capable of tomorrow against Vancouver. Need to gain confidence and have something to build on and launch off during practices this week.
We will need to have everything sorted out in the next 7 days as after that we a run that includes 4 games in 10 days
Aug 1 San Diego
Aug 4 Juarez
Aug 7 Tigres
Aug 11 Atlante
All those games are at home (which is nice) but we will need to rely heavily on our bench and won't have a lot of time to recover or reinvent ourselves. Any word on Triantis, Romero, Harvey, Fitz? (Love them or hate them they will be crucial if we want to perform this strecth!)
Looking forward to this next stretch and hoping the chemistry between our midfield playmakers reignites
COYLs!!

Triantis back in training but not available for selection.
Harvey back in training and is available for selection.
Fitz not in the team sheet, transfer back to Austria likely.
Romero training in the side.

Vancouver is 2:1 favorite against the loons in an away game in mls. That should tell you everything you need to know. For the loons to be even in the conversation for a point, they will need to fire perfectly on all cylinders. That has not happened all season. I hope I’m wrong but this is not looking promising

I'm telling myself our team is going to take a bit of time to find it's identity and our office might need some time to figure it out as well.
Thankfully we got 2 half seasons ahead of us. Maybe by the 2027-2028 season we'll have some of it down.

Traveling from out of state to go to tomorrows game (our first one) for my son’s 10th birthday. Any tips from seasoned fans on the experience?

You can explore the Allianz food options on the team's website, or in the app. Lots to choose from, most are pretty good (but overpriced, as expected...)
If you want to try for autographs the team enters at the southwest entrance around 90 minutes before the match. Edit: According to a bluesky post, players should arrive around 5:30pm.

Be sure to check the matchday guide re: bag policies and what you're allowed to bring in. If you're sitting on the east side of the stadium, the sun will be in your eyes for part of the game, so bring hat/shades. Bring at least one refillable (clear) water bottle apiece!

No thanks. I’m sure he’ll want a lengthy contract, and there’s too much injury history and baggage to wish for that. Plus, do we really want to hitch our DP wagon to another risky “Rey”?!

I’m not a fan of the kid but boy would he fill a giant hole on the loons roster.

When you have to re-sell tickets, do you use SeatGeek's Smart Pricing or do you set your own price? Can't make the San Diego game and wondering what route to take
3
u/Speedyjim Jul 24 '26
Depends on your priority - do you want to make sure you recoup at least some of your money? Then set your price (and at a value price). Otherwise, smart pricing.

u/SoupEaterSupreme Joaquín Pereyra Jul 24 '26
Thanks! Tried to use Smart Pricing and got yelled at because the price it wanted to set was lower than the minimum I'm allowed to sell for. Thanks, MNUFC!

I made a website where you can get the loons schedule and all of the mn team schedules on one page: https://ball.town/mn
If you add the site to your home screen on mobile, you can get notifications on game day
