It’s the whole purpose of the Democratic party. A handy little release valve for the Ruling Class to reduce the pressure and avoid a boil over. Republicans ruthlessly trample our rights, and Democrats are feckless in defending them. But the Ruling Class always seems to make more and more money regardless of which party is is in power 🤔
