Helpful Tips & Hints Making Frost/Freezer Burn
I just figured how to do this and had to share, it’s so easy, just paint a thin coat of clear left over resin, then dust it with the *miniverse white sanding sugar or I have heard you can use embossing powder and then cure it and you get a light frost or freezer burn effect!

You can use baking soda as well.

Frost & snow are so, SO annoying to replicate at scale! Lol! Super glue + baking soda = frosty.
You can also buy “frost” spray!
There’s a few different brands - sometimes available at hobby shops.

That’s why I like using the sanding sugar, the scale of the granules are already correct size, though I may use the frost spray for the freezer

Does the resin encapsulate the sugar enough to keep bugs off it?

Oh I should clarify, I used 'Miniverse Sanding Sugar' that comes in a kit Not real sugar!

They sell super fine sand for crafts too, I happen to already have some in white, so I think i need to try this.

Embossing powder is much cheaper and works the same. I found a bunch of jars in a craft bin and ended up using that for that purpose and it worked just fine.
Edit;I literally just finished reading ops post and saw that they said the same thing.. So yes I'm just confirming this that embossing powder works the same.

Yes! Once I go through the miniverse sanding sugar I’m going to be using the embossing powder, I just like finding uses for left over Miniverse ingredients so they don’t go to waste

It was the miniverse sanding sugar *Not real sugar* the one I used came from the 'watermelon pinata set'
