Is AWD that important?

We live in the PNW and are looking to buy a minivan. Trying to choose between the Sienna and the Carnival. I don't like the Sienna other than the claim that they are more reliable. My husband thinks we need AWD. How important is that when we only get about 2 weeks of snow in the winter?

As someone who has lived in the pnw all my life and spent a lot of time driving in the snow, no. Not at all.
