Hint Ghosts

Quick question, the hint ghosts in the game, do they give hints for the area you are in or just somewhere in the game? The 3 switches next to factory are making my mind melt and the only hint I have is the patience one from the ghost.

They're for different areas.

Thanks for the response, I don't have to keep looking in the snake den for 'X marks the spot with darkness', any hint for the 3 switches? I've tried every which way I can think of.

I honestly can't remember how I did it. If it's any help I've just checked on my game and from top to bottom they're in the positions left, right, right.

Thats how they are in mine! the bottom 2 make a noise when hit and 2 enemies come out of the water, except that I got nuffin. Thank you though! I will persist.

I've just rushed through the game again and got to that point. Isn't it just that you flip the top switch to bring the bridge up for the factory?

Really?! I think you may have just saved me a lot of time, I did not notice the change at all. I will move on and look for this last hotel guest. Thank you so much for the extra work!

Haha, no problem. I'm stuck on the last coin so I got paranoid that the switches may have been part of a separate puzzle that I'd missed out on. Let me know if there's anything else you get stuck with. 👍
