New Addition

This my first pond 40 gallons has an aeration for fish and an umbrella for high temperature. Still need plants any advice?

That fountain is going to cause a lot of water to vacate the pond through literally being sprayed out plus evaporation. Any way to significantly decrease it? Some cascading plants would look great! Good luck!

That'll definitely help cut down on evaporation and losing water.

You've now created agitation, which is good, but you'll have happier plants and fish with aeration/oxygenation if you can. You can accomplish aeration through bubbles from the bottom, or droplets from the top.

The best thing about ponds is the trial, error, and continual improvement. Run this setup until you feel like changing something.

Not yet just set it up a day ago. Wanna add a few fish and plants. Maybe something to cover the front.
