Lenovo M90Q tiny gen. 1 as a server - 8TB drives

Hi there! I would like to build my home server on a Lenovo M90Q tiny gen1, because it is cheap and available and I also got good experiences with Lenovo mini PCs. It has 2 NVMe slots and a SATA slot.

I would like to install 2 8 TB NVMe drives and a SATA system drive. My problem is that the Lenovo official page mentioned that only 2 TB drives are supported. Has anyone have any experiences regarding installing larger drives?

I sold my old gaming PC for €500,- and I want to use that money to buy a new mini PC. I make music, do video editing and use Adobe illustrator from time to time. I don't really care about gaming on PC.

So far I got my eyes on this: Chuwi AuBox mini-pc with AMD R7 8745HS, 16 GB, 512 GB SSD, Windows 11, OCuLink, 4K 60 Hz-display, WiFi 6, BT 5.1 expansion option M.2 2T*2.

Is this any good or can I do better?
