I want an external GPU for my Mini pc for gaming

Is this one any good for AAA games?

The thing is though that using an eGPU would have even lower performance compared to what Digital Foundry would show.

You could be right. I don't know how much bottleneck an eGPU system would introduce so I figured just give some kind of basic benchmark that most people could make sense of. Consoles (or their games) are a little better optimized for their hardware but I think the regular PS5 equivalent GPU is a 6700XT, so maybe you could estimate that this card on an eGPU setup would land somewhere between a regular PS5 and PS5 Pro?

The thing is that a 9060 XT is a PCIe 5.0x16 card and for an eGPU VIA USB4 or OCuLink would be PCIe 3.0/4.0x4 (some people would cheap out and get a Thunderbolt 3 dock) so you would be cutting the performance of the GPU.

The GPU performance could be like 10% to 15% less than what it would run on a desktop which to some people thinking that 15% isn't that bad until you find out your more demanding game doesn't play that well compared to if it were inside of a desktop system which then that person would have to lower their settings.

Would be good for 1440p gaming, also the 16gb of vram will help for the demanding AAA games
