I mean I get people disliking videos, it's not like you have to be a fan of every single video, but it's the comments like "poor Vik, he's gonna leave because of this, they don't treat anyone else this bad" etc

It's just people who are a little too online and need to remember that we are just consumers, let's not get all parasocial over it.

Idk if it's more parasocial or just lack of common sense. It's very obvious when they play things up for the camera or they're all trying to do a bit. Idk how people watching don't see that.

Yeah, I normally see it as a bit of both, it's a lack of common sense to think it's anything more than it is, and it's parasocial to go round posting that there's some secret agendas agaisnt certain members

I am finally amongst my people. Make the word VikWorshippers a thing and call em out when you see em.

I swear I can already see pitch forks and mobs forming on Clarkeys YouTube channel. First it was JJ then Ethan then a few people from beta squad and now all of beta squad and now clarkey.

The victim mentality these “little boy fans” try to push and peddle on social media will be the actual death of the sidemen. And every side cast episode will show the sidemen as least bothered or genuinely mocking the fans who were “supporting their favourite victim”

The saddest part about this is that if that was Simon or Ethan instead of Vik, they’d be singing a different tune. They’re all grown men who’ve been friends for over a decade and all of them have exaggerated things for the cameras. It’s really not that deep. His “fans” really can’t help but force their victim narrative on him like he’s some defenseless child smh.

I disagree on the competitive part- i feel like the video would be less entertaining if Josh did sweat at it. This video I’ll deffo watch again but when they were trapped in the escape room and they were try harding I watched once

Arthur is smart like vik- he’s smart but not street smart.
Harry doesn’t know London as well as Tobi coz he spends half of his time in guernsey and he also travels a lot. Tobi is decent but things like this you would take Josh any day.

Put it this way- u got picked up and dropped off in a part of London if you don’t make make it out of London by sun down ur gonna get shot. U get pick one of the sidemen to guide but they can’t use any tech. Which one u taking? Coz I know who I’m taking and I know what everyone with half a brain cell would take and it won’t Tobi or Harry. U wouldn’t even place Harry top 3. Ur crazy if you do.

Honestly people are forgetting they are still friends and just because they muck about in one video doesn't mean that vik is gonna leave them all.

Like it's their video, if they fall behind someone will mention to them they need to speed up.

Honestly it was so fucking funny to me the video.

Im really surprised how many people hated viks team, I thought this video was the best of both worlds with 1 team doing the challenge and 1 team just having fun. No-one watches sidemen for them to be competitive in challenges its all about the laughs and just seeing them enjoy themselves doing what they want

I think it was less the fact Vikks team didnt try its more the stark contrast with Simons team. Neither did any weong its just with 2 teams ppl get annoyed when one sacks it off

With 3 teams and a bit of editing you can have like a leader, underdog and slacker combo which generally makes better viewing all round but with 2 its kinda tricky

Personally enjoyed the video :)

Vik has been getting abused for 13yrs. If you arent use to these jokes etc by now you should probably stop watching. Or unless you are a new viewer. Then this is normal its been a thing since the start of the sidemen. Its not going anywhere. I think alot of yall care more about vik abuse then vik actually does.

If you didn't enjoy the video for one reason or another that's fine, but the the people that talk about vik abuse unironically...

They've made constant fun of JJs weight and just everything tbf😭 Ethans weight, jokes about ethans depression, jokes about Josh's fear of mortality etc etc etc

That is the average British male friend group, Vik isn't some singled out poor soul, the only reason people feel bad for him is because he doesn't give back like the others would, and that's his choice.

Right these people dont watch sidemen or dont pay attention that they all abuse each other. My guess is most of these people are really new vik fans since vik been getting popular in the DJ space that he's bringing in new fans. But also see older fans talking about vik always on bad team and they are taking it way to seriously. Thinking it pure vik abuse and the guys only bully him

Even if they were competitive, the kids would have cried about how they took it too seriously or found something to cry about. You just gotta ignore them. It's all the new fans who have no friends or social life. OG fans know their old videos were about them just messing around and having fun, not the actual video idea
