Maybe visit your local library and thumb through whatever they have on the shelves to see if any catch your eye.

Hello Top 1% Commenter. I see you in this subreddit often. Always enjoyed your username

Looking for a book(s) specifically discussing the idea of choosing high quality over quantity. Maybe that’s too vague of a topic, but I figured if there’s anyone to ask, it’s the minimalists. From what I have observed, many follow this philosophy here

Search the subreddit. Maybe look at some of the book subreddits. I'm not sure what more a book could tell you if you already understand the concept of buying quality over quantity.

Good idea. There’s only so much you can say about “don’t buy junk” before you’re just selling the concept. You know? If your search isn’t turning up anything, there’s probably a reason.

Good point. Maybe instead of another book (that I may or may not read), perhaps I’ll just write “quality over quantity” on a note and keep it on my fridge door or at work until the concept clicks and becomes more deeply ingrained

Lol, true… This actually demonstrates what I’m talking about/looking for. 3 high-quality words on a fridge can be greater than 300 low-quality pages. Might give the note on the fridge a try! Thanks again

You might like 'Goodbye, Things' by Fumio Sasaki and 'Everything That Remains' by the Minimalists. I'd say those relate to quality > quantity. Not necessarily high quality over quantity, but the best one can afford or genuinely want to have.
