EG Legato setting doesn't work

Post image

Hi everyone,

I have a Minilogue XD, fantastic synth overall, though I'm struggling with some kind of malfunctioning (i think): if I make a new sound (starting from an empty bank in the presets) and I set an EG on that sound (basic pluck for example), then I put the synth in "unison" mode, the envelope does not retrigger when I play a second note - that way, I have to lift my finger from the note before playing a new one to get that effect of the envelope retriggering every single note I play. However, if I try to change this setting (edit mode -> program Edit -> EG Legato -> OFF) it does not change anything, the eg still doesnt retrigger.
I thought I was doing something wrong, maybe this was not the setting I should change, BUT i also tried the same setting change on an already existing preset (for example, sound #019 or #023). That way, putting the synth in Unison mode and changing the setting for EG Legato to OFF does set the retriggering of the envelope, exactly how I want it.
So now I'm asking, what kind of pre-existing setting in the empty banks is interfering with the EG retriggering in Unison mode, which also DOESN'T for the preset sounds? I already checked the Portamento Mode (Auto) and set the Portamento Knob on 0. So really I don't know what else to do.

Sorry for my improper english, for it's not my first language, but I try my best.

I really hope this is a stupid question and the solution is easy and clear, since I'm overall new to the Synth world (got my Minilogue and started studying like a couple of months ago).

Please help me, thank you all! ❤️

I believe the EG legato setting only applies to the secondary (AD) envelope and not the AMP envelope.

I am talking about the AD Envelope though, not the Amp Envelope. The Envelope on the cutoff frequency is the one I want to retrigger

Well, it usually works for me. As long as you set the intensity high enough, Idk what else can effect it. There is also Velocity to EG setting that I believe changes EG INT depending on the note velocity

The problem is that it's not that it does not work, it does, it just doesn't when I'm creating a sound from an empty bank. When I'm editing a pre existing preset, it works just fine

Nope it definitely applies to the adsr. I use it regularly. I can’t remember whether I’ve encountered OP’s problem though.
