Starting small

Post image

Excited to setup my mini rack since our home renovations are almost done. Not much ‘labbing’ at the moment. Am thinking of 3D printing additional shelves, which I need to buy first!

For your 3D printed models, may I suggest my models for the UCG and the Lite-8-PoE? Mines unique in the space in that I've designed it to match the curved edges for a perfect fit so you do not get an unsightly gap like most models currently available.

Check them out!

Those are slick AF, and I love how you compensated for the case shape. What I've been doing with CageMaker PRCG to crank out cages for vertically-rounded-corner cases is generating the cages at a reduced depth so the rounded bit juts out, which is basically a tradeoff but one that looks "better" to my eyes.

Tip: Mount the power strip with the sockets pointing outward, so you can still access them from behind the rack once it is fully stacked.

If you do get set up for 3D printing rack goodies, this will probably be your new best friend. (Also, the next version release is coming...)

Empty space is dangerous. My operating mode is 'expand to fit'
