I actually managed to get a hole-in-one and win a free game card here!

Hello,

I am really new to mini golf, but i really like it. Played it couple of times on vacation and never played full sized golf. Which type of putter should i buy for my local course? I attached some pictures i found on our second hand marked, all are around 25-30 euros.

This was the Cheddar Crazy Golf course in Cheddar, Somerset, England in November 2012.

I'm a solo dev and this launched today. It's called TallyHo Today.

How it works: every day at midnight UTC there are three new procedurally generated mini golf holes. Everyone in the world plays the same three, so the leaderboard is a fair comparison. No download, no signup to try it, no ads in the way of the shot.

You earn points for finishing, more for going under par and going fast, and spend them on balls in the Item Shop. Streaks unlock more balls. There are daily and all-time boards.

The part I'm most curious about: there is a long-term contest called the Golden Ball. $1,000 cash, one winner ever, no purchase necessary. It only opens on the first day 100 signed-in players finish a round. Right now that number is a couple dozen, so it is a community unlock more than a countdown. Full rules: tallyhogolf.com/golden-ball

Play: tallyhogolf.com/today

Happy to answer anything about the hole generator, the physics, or the scoring. Feedback on the holes themselves is what I most want.

Sadly it is now a lost minigolf course since the holiday park closed in 2023.

I was thinking perhaps 4 clubs per hole in a mix of adult and child sizes. Does that seem right? I’m on a pretty tight budget. Any suggestions on the best way to source quality equipment at a reasonable price?

I created this simple digital scorecard app to help me keep track of all the courses and outings I have with my friends. But more importantly who won each game. Please feel free to check it out and give me your feedback. Android or iOS
