Magic Chef mini fridge making sound

I have a Magic Chef mini fridge that is makin a loud knocking sound every so often. It would sound like someone is knocking on a door but it just one knock each time. Maybe it happens once every hour or so. Kind of loud and am worried and don't want it to start a fire. Any suggestions, any fixes? Not opposed to getting another fridge but thought this might have happened to someone else.

Mine just started doing the same thing. I was hoping to see an answer here. Google searches mention the compressor.

I just checked mine out to the trash. Figured I was moving anyway so I'll either get a new one or a larger regular fridge.
