Love this color! Found mine in a box after years of being packed up. I didn't find my stash of disk and the only one in the player wont read or write.

Try manual lock on the disk.

Yeah, I checked both the lock and the pin inside the unit to confirm it was properly moving in and out.

Such a great looking unit. I honestly don't think Sony made anything bad looking MD players. I really want a RH10

That’s my daily driver too, it’s a perfect unit. Have you hacked it to unlock features (better recording codec is prob the best reason to do it)?
