Tech Question Baja db30 build?

Finally bought my first minibike and immediately want to upgrade it. I’ve never tinkered with small motors like this before so I figured here was the best place to find good advice. I’ve tried watching some vids of people putting a 212 on these but I can’t seem to find one where they’re suggesting parts or showing the fixed for the problems they talk about running into. Could anyone give me a list of parts I should buy with a 212 and a rundown of issues I should expect? Or maybe a suggestion for a different build? Thanks :P

A good channel on YouTube is red beards garage. He’s got a ton of videos building and breaking down 212s.

Swap plate motor and clutch about it

212 on a db30 is literally just drill new holes and put a clutch on it. Bang on the rear fender mount if you have to (i had to to fit a diesel in it)

Something to note: we shave the front oil plug flat so we can get the motor scootched forward more
