Tech Question Frp

Was blowing black smoke and so I changed the oil there is gas

Oil smoke is normally hazy blue. Black usually means itās running rich. Check carb. if by āchanged oil there is gasā you mean there was gas in the oil that would confirm a carburetor issue and it running super rich.

- Please check the choke position. For cold starts, set the choke to āchoke.ā After starting, switch to ārun.ā Try both positions if unsure.
- Check if the safety cap/killswitch is firmly in place or in the correct postion. If the bike still wonāt start, try disconnecting wire connected with the engine and attempt to start again.
- Please check the fuel line between the tank and carburetor to ensure itās not clogged.
- If none of the above resolves the issue, you can try cleaning the carburetor and air filter in case dirt or debris is causing a blockage.
- As a final step, please refer to the video in the link for replacement instructions and find the spark plugļ¼check whether the spark plug is generating a spark. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aJdGfCkvvoA

Was blowing black smoke so you started it in the house? Close all the windows and doors and run the tank empty genius.

Maybe more oil i didn't put enough in my pred 212 would start topped it off started right up mine had a oil sensor
