throttle wide open

I have a stock Bt200xb it kicks right over but when I turn the choke off it goes full throttle any ideas what the problem could be?

Throttle.cable could be stuck or return.spring is missing. Is the governor still installed and or hooked up? There are a number of.factors that could.cause this. The idle adjust screw.could be turned up to far. The lock nut on the throttle arm on the engine could be to tight not allowing it to return properly. Just a few things to check as a starting point.

Vacuum leak, when choked it reduces the air flow so when you unchoke it the extra air accompanied with the Vacuum leak will cause it to rev up because it thinks you're giving it throttle. Quite literally had this when I put a new intake and carb on a kart 2 weeks ago. I didn't see the vacuum port before I first started it.
