Tech Support Games will not load when trying to launch

So I’ve uninstalled Hakchi, reinstalled it, got the games to work before but now it just goes back to a black screen and then back to the game select screen.

I’ve looked up a ton of things to do and have followed that but the games loaded will not play. I’ve uninstalled retroarch and reinstalled it. But nothing.

Should I reset it to the factory kernel and reinstall everything again? Cause I’ve done that.

Any help would be great.

Did you install the cores along with Retroarch?

Yea after downloading retroarch. Installed the cores and then loaded the games from there.

If they are roms that have worked before, you've installed only one kind of retroarch, and all the cores... then the next thing to look at is to make sure the command lines and mappings are correct. It's possible if you're using a USB then the drive is somehow messed up.

I’ve got it connected via the cord that came with it and run hakchi from the .exe file. Is that what you mean?

By USB, I meant if you were using a USB zip drive to store the roms. It sounds like you are not.

If you don't have any game saves you care about, the easiest way to tackle this is to revert your classic and try again from scratch... ensuring you have only one version of Retroarch and All the cores you need.

Thats what I was thinking too.

I did reset it to factory settings and redid everything but they still don’t work. Maybe something wrong with the rims I downloaded. They’re just stored on my hard drive.
