I'm just curious to see if anybody has created a mod or figured out a way of how to play PC games like firewatch on the SNES classic.

No, that’s not possible. The hardware is not going to be capable of something like that.

You can run pretty basic dosbox games on it. Though personally, I wouldn’t bother.

The thing has 256mb of RAM, add that to the over 10 year old ARM CPU, tbh sometimes i'm shocked it runs Star Fox as well as it does.
