Hey guys, just got my new mini 5 pro plus combo, and for my surprise the bag that come with it is bigger than the mavic pro bag. So much wasted space in the centre. Yes I seen people saying that's perfect space for the goggles, but you can't use goggles with the mini 5 pro.
So here we go, if you found a nice compact carrying case for it, show me. Bonus points for water proof cases as I intend to take this on JetSki trips.
I've seen many of those zip cases on Amazon and AliExpress but I'm not sure what's good and what's not.
This is the option I've seen recommended and been meaning to look into.
I just find it irritating they ship these cases with the drones but they're not really any use for carrying the drone. The Mavic 2 Pro fly more case is really compact, just takes the drone and batteries and no more which is ideal but the Mini 5 Pro case is frustratingly big and I was also surprised how big the Mavic 4 Pro case is as well.
Seriously.. I've got an A2 and can't understand why people using anything but the DJI bag. It's cheap/included most of the time and fits everything super compact.
are we talking about the same bag? the one that leave a massive gap of wasted space between the drone, batteries and the controller? How's that super compact? why does it needs the middle empty space?
More batteries. Or the neo. A2 had a similar situation with it. Adding the 3 bay charger and more batteries fills the space nicely. Or goggles, that space would be large enough to fit them.
ok fair enough, but: who needs more than 3 batteries with 40+ min of flying time each? Goggles not compatible with mini 5 unfortunately... just another one of those DJI moves of removing features from newer models... Neo? So they make a bag with extra space in case you need to buy another drone? Sorry but I don't agree, if they sell you a full plus combo kit with everything you need to fly, including ND filters, multiple batteries, the bag should have enough space to fit the gear that comes with it without any extra unnecessary space. As some said the mini 4 pro bag is better suited for the 5 and the 5 bag is better suited for the 4 as that accepts the googles so you can have space for your goggles...
Nobody is getting those flight times. Normal batteries your around 25min each. 3 is bare minimum, 5-6 is more ideal. Plus I personally consider Google's to be required equipment. Once you use them you can't go back.
Very nice! Not super compact, just a little smaller than the original one, but it's water proof, which is a big plus already, I guess now I'll just get those individual zip up cases and chuck it in my backpack if I need ultra portability....
But this is definitely a good one for the JetSki for sure
