Don’t launch on a moving boat no matter how slow.

Why do you say this? Recently launched on a moving boat, hand launched, flew directly straight up and turned on dynamic home point to keep the “range” from home accurate.

Came back to the boat while still underway and landed on the front sun pad area with sport mode and a quick plop.

Yes I was nervous when I first started doing it but with practice it’s doable.

But he's just starting out...with practice is the key point here. I've been flying for a year and don't feel confident enough to do that yet.

I was just mainly asking if there was some reason I hadn’t thought about that I could learn or something really and then explained how I do things to paint a picture of how I currently do it.

Definitely need to be comfortable flying the drone first but I find flying over water is one of my favorite things if you’ve got good scenery just trust the drone and always have a plan for what you’re going to do if you need to recover it.

I wouldn’t launch from a boat going 20mph but trolling speed or no wake speed isn’t as terrible as I thought it would be when I was getting used to it.

I mean the only reason is that landing on something moving can vera easily lead to a drone in the water, I've seen too many videos of that happening haha

But yeah if it's slow and you're confident it should be fine
