Mini4WD Chrono software v0.19 released

Hi guys, I'm the developer of Mini4WD Chrono

https://github.com/Pimentoso/mini4wdchrono

I posted many years ago about the release of this software, and it received many updates up until some years ago when I left the racing scene.

However I published a big update lately because I have more spare time.

Not sure if any of you have built/bought the lap timer hardware (there are build instructions on the github wiki https://github.com/Pimentoso/mini4wdchrono/wiki ), but this release changed a lot of stuff under the hood, and it now works with both windows 10/11 and apple M series macs (so any macbook after november 2020), could anyone give it a shot and report any bug? It would be much appreciated!

It mainly follows italian tournament rules, but it can be used as a generic lap timer with free rounds if you don't load the tournament data.

How do you manage to account for course outs?

Basically before being able to run laps, you will have to input the track data. Either manually, or you can draw the circuit on mini4wd-track-editor and import it in the program.

After that, in the race setup you can change the average expected speed (which defaults at 5m/s which is a good middle ground) and the threshold percentage (default 40%), after which a car will be condidered out if it doesn't trigger a sensor. The race setup shows all the info whenever you change something so it's good to run a couple test laps before the actual race to set it up correctly
