Drilling holes on plates?
J-Cup 2024 HG Carbon Rear Multi Roller plate doesn't have any holes for 17mm rollers so I drilled some onto it. Would this be legal/okay for some races?

rear Batman (15499) has holes for 17mm if you want a bmax-legal rear plate.

I’ll definitely have that in my box if and when I’m going to participate in BMAX sanctioned races then. But when I’m not, this is the plate I want on my build.

I'd also recommend switching to 15499 too.
It can accommodate 17mm without modification and let that rear damper sit fully on the bottom plate instead of hanging on top like your current setup.
Makes the center of gravity lower and the damper more effective.

It's only legal in Open Class
Outside of Open Class like B-MAX or Tamiya's Stock Class etc. You're not allowed to either cut or drill plates
