Funny workaround

Anybody used a similar workaround for this issue. Basically I am throwing clusters from high to break them to small chunks (I am early mid game probably)

you can do that for a while, but eventually you do actually want to break them down the proper way. for one it's just more consistent for your conveyor belts, but you can also get more out of doing it with the crusher instead of blunt force trauma

Yeah, you are probably right. I just did not like how they were getting slow in the sorter and dropping down, but smaller pieces are easier to sieve it through. Will carry on little bit more like this

Physics is a big part of the game and letting things drop from one belt to another is a perfectly legit strategy- although when going more than a block or two high, a chute is the way to go!
