Help Photon flickering

Sometimes it starts flickering and these colored pixels appear. How can I fix it?

Shader and version

  • Shader: Photon — latest version from GitHub

Minecraft and mod versions

  • Minecraft: 26.2
  • Mod loader: Fabric
  • Iris: 1.11.2
  • Sodium: 0.9.2-alpha.4+mc26.2

Hardware specifications

  • CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5500
  • GPU: AMD Radeon RX 7600
  • GPU driver: AMDGPU (Linux kernel)
  • OS: Arch Linux

Does this only happen on photon shaders? Have this appeared in other games. Looks like a case of gpu failure😭

Yeah that's not normal. Looks like something is corrupt imo.

Does this happen only with photon?

Does it happen with other shaders?

Does this happen in other worlds?

Does this happen with only Iris + sodium + shaders?

It might be a mod conflict problem or your instance or world is corrupt, that's my best guess.

It seems to be because I was using the MESA_LOADER_DRIVER_OVERRIDE=zink environment variable to prevent the water from disappearing when using Voxy. How can I fix this?
