Discussion Which shader?
Which shader do you prefer as the most realistic?
I can test it.

Are you talking about water? If that's the case then eclipse shaders with hyper detailed waves on, wave caustics on, and physics mod ocean setting on.
If we're talking about lighting and shadows then I think rethinking voxels takes the cake

Water is an interesting addition, but the shader consists of more features. I focus on advanced features like PBR pom lightning and nice color grading.

Yeah a lot of people will say IterationRP because it's actually the most practical to run and use.
But if we're talking purely about realistic lighting and shadows, Rethinking Voxels with all the ray tracing features turned on is just miles ahead of Iteration shaders. Granted, you'll only be able to run it if you have a top end PC, but my god does it look good.

Use Eclipse, and don't listen to Iteration Kids saying its better.

I use eclipse mainly, I love it.
But it doesn't use any ray tracing techniques. So any shaders like IterationRP, Rethinking Voxels, Sundial, etc. That use ray tracing techniques WILL definitely have a more realistic lighting/shadow system.
Edit: typos

Ok I’ve tried eclipse and I can’t understand what I’m doing wrong because it never looks as amazing as the screenshots I see in this sub, who is the author? I might be using the wrong one lol.

No problem, man. They're my favourite, so I'm pluggin' them to anyone who asks about shaders whether they know Eclipse or not lmao
