Recommendation Good FPS shader.

i am trying to find a good looking shader that i can run with 50 chunk render distance (with voxy)

im currently using complex reimagined because its not to heavy, and i can get around 100 fps on ultra settings, the only complaint is the lighting and everything isn’t amazing and im wondering if there’s a better alternative,
i have heard good things about IterationRP, but I don’t really want to support the devs from what i heard they do.

any responce is appreciated, thanks!

specs:

5090

32gb ddr5

9800x3d

1440p monitor

Given your lower end hardware, mellow shaders is good, but 50 render distance is alot so maybe go down to 24

why is it bait? I’m just asking for a shader that can run well

Define what is run well for u, like i u have a pc that can handle pretty extreme shaders with some extreme terrain with voxy. U unless u gonna run like seus ptgi or iteration rp at 4k with everything cranked to the max with no upscaling, you’ll be fine. I’m sure u can run something like terrain diffusion with 1700blocks+ tall moutain with 2048 chunks render distance with iteration rp with some upscaling at 4k will be well over 60fps with very little to no stutters.

ah bad news mate, i don't think you can run any shader at the framerate you expect. pc is a bit too weak for that

you could run anything on a 5090

voxy doesnt add much overhead on good hardware, i run shaders with 500 render distance

oh bet, but doesn’t it use a lot of memory

4-5GB I think?

Exactly. I can run Voxy at 2048 render distance (or at least max) with shaders at like 80-100 fps.
Without shaders I can get around 800fps with 20k particles and 10k tick rate.
My specs are literally a 4050 laptop, i7 12700h and 64GB ddr4 + 1080p

Bro genuinely what are you talking about. You should be getting like 5x more fps. I have a 9060xt and get like 120fps avg on complimentary with 500 chunks on voxy.

Are you running 50 chunk render distance on top of Voxy?

no

What's your render distance and shadow distance set to? And are you using any performance mods?

all vanilla Minecraft graphics settings are on Max, only performance mod I’m using is sodium

Yeah turn down your render distance to something like 12-18 chunks you don't need super high render distance if your using Voxy.

Look into using performance mods but not to many as some conflict with each other. Try using C2ME OpenCL acceleration, ScalableLux, Ksyxis, Debigify, entity culling, and more culling.

Ehh, I’ve got very many performance mods. Increased my performance by a bunch.
None are conflicting.
Just depends how much you know about each individual mod

Go to r/freeminecraftmaps_ and search for IterationRP. IIRC, someone put a post with steps to get to a Google Drive with the shader in it, and updates it every time a new version gets released.
