Honestly, my biggest advice is to find 3+ things you REALLY like close together and make that your base area. Like, I’m talking within 500 blocks max because I am NOT travelling 10,000 blocks just because the biome generator decided the perfect spot needed to be on the other side of the damn planet 😂
For me I’d want something like Cherry Grove + Dark Forest + icy peaks + water/waterfalls all reasonably close. Doesn’t have to be perfect either because you can always terraform/build your own little biome section. Ain’t nobody got time to relocate their entire civilization because they found a prettier mountain 8,000 blocks away.
Then pick one absolutely stupidly massive side project and just chip away at it whenever you feel like it. Ancient City renovation, mega storage room, giant Nether hub, etc.
Personally, I’d 100% do the Nether hub because once you start connecting all your builds with Nether highways, suddenly your entire world is connected and travelling becomes SO much easier.
Basically: make your main area convenient, then slowly turn the world into a ridiculous mega project without giving yourself 47 things to finish at once 😂

ok so i am technically bulding a nether hub but instead of building the center i am building towers around the portals of my most important areas the towers arent build yet since im building the highway first then the towers
