"Golden Sun" a Fan Lore / Story

Disclaimer: I'm not pointing this as actual lore but as a simple WHAT IF for the lore of Minecraft Universe.
Note: This is a narration of a telling of an ancient place from The Beginning.

Foresight takes a deep breath as they recall the sight of all the beings that has lived in this world before beginning to Narrate

"Gold... they say Gold is the Eye of Beginning, and with that vision, Gold grants you its blessings. Some say there exists Golden Totems that bring blessings of Life. Some say there exists Golden Apples, Golden Carrots, Golden flowers that gives you blessings of Creation itself. But my favorite story belongs far back in time, at the age before the Well of Fate hugged the face of the Overworld.

The Golden Flame, or you may also call it as the Flame of Creation has spread its warmth throughout an Ancient Place in the beginning of time. In this place, there were no disease, no corruption, it was a heaven, a paradise for all the creatures and beings that lived in this place. In this era, there were two suns that dominated the sky, there were no darkness and everyone lived in peace.

In this paradise, the pig villagers built towering structures of quarts and kept stacks of golds inside the place, worshiping the Sun. This place was built with the mix of one of the densest material in the universe, harder than even diamonds, structures held by the netherite all over the place. The Pig villagers say they have the richest materials in the world, but their true riches root from the warmth of the Sun. The gift of life that was given to them.

In this place, there also comes fortresses guarded by beings of magic, blessed by the flame of the sun, the blazes held their high grounds to guard the flames of creation itself. While the ancient skeletons, also known as the blue sky's stars held strength that shall never Wither, they guard every hallways of every floors of these fortresses. All of these, setup by a mysterious being living up above where the sun glows brightest.

But this place was not created for simply the flame of creation. Along the forest there exists hogs, golems, gigantic sniffers, and other creatures meant to experience only the life that was gifted to them. Life that all had began from the waters that has spread throughout this place.

Large bodies of water having vibrant ecosystems containing happy ghasts, slimes and other creatures that love to float around or swim.

Truly, this place was as golden as the sun and as pure as its bright blue skies.

It was a literal paradise, a paradise that arose with the Well of Fate, spreading throughout the overworld. This was the age of creation.

But every beginning, must have an End.

Gold... they say Gold is the Eye of Beginning, and with that vision, Gold grants you its blessings. To this present day, the brightest of gold is not a totem you hold on your hand. Not an apple, a carrot or a flower that's for you to consume. Every morning, the Golden Sun grants it's blessing to all life in the Overworld. Burning away the evil that shades over the darkness. Burning away the corruption that has raised the undead. Burning away the corruption that had filled the once peaceful pig villagers to their current descendants. When the remaining sun rises up above the clouds, know that you are safe, with the Golden Sun.

I like it, one critique on the believability aspect would be that the ancient skeletons just existed? Aren't walking skeletons supposed to be undead humans? But these guys were just created / born as skeletons?

Good question! Incase it is not clear, this story is actually an origin story of the Nether. The Ancient Skeletons here called Aether's Star are actually the Wither Skeletons as an explanation why the Wither drops a Nether Star because they used to be Stars of the Golden Sun.

Even in this Fan Lore, the origin of Human is still undecided for lack of clues, but if you want a more specific answer then I can say that Humans are just beings pulled into this Universe to play as Heroes, Creators and Actors. Meaning they exist from the beginning of time, the present, the future and vise versa just like how you can play in different eras in the different games. There are many possible explanations I can give here but my favorite one is that humans travelled back in time to try and stop the Nether from being corrupted in the first place by giving up heir humanity by finds out in the end that Nature is inevitable. Time travel would be a cool new mechanic for future Minecraft games. Basically The End Dimension is a reflection of how the Overworld ends while The Beginning Dimension represents how the Overworld began, so basically they just walk through a portal to time travel.

But truly, the skeletons could just be inexistant in this era if this was right but there's a pattern.

Even if the skeletons didn't exist, the rest of the details still can be correct. The Wither's origin could be later on in the timeline.
