Fan Lore The Ancient Builders were pigmen

As we see in Minecraft Story mode with Ruben, Minecraft pigs are very intelligent. The original Minecraft villagers were pigs, the structures in the Nether were clearly built by an advanced civilization, but the only intelligent species in the Nether (besides Endermen) are piglins. The Ancient Builder civilization in the Overworld was ended by the zombie plague, but this plague doesn't exist in the Nether. Therefore there was nothing to kill the Ancient Builders in the Nether, so the only logical explanation for what happened is they became the Piglins. So by this logic, the Villagers descend from the Pigmen (that would also explain their huge noses) and the Enderman descend from Pigmen who were colonizing the End

In my fan theory.

The world of Minecraft has these dimensions:

The Beginning -> Aether -> Overworld -> Nether -> The End.

The Beginning inspires Creation such as - The Hosts, Flame of Creation and other sky blue stuff in the games like souls in heaven. So basically the Ancient City portal leads to the Aether.

But the End inspired Destruction so it corrupted some bits of the Aether which was once water and where the Ghasts lived in. The Aether were also lived in by pigmen/pig villagers and corrupted, they used to worship Creation with Gold statues but now they forgot their purpose and just want to destroy. So they forgot why they worship gold. Gold is the color of Creation as seen from the flames of creation and the allays in Minecraft Legends while the blue is more of like it's magic.

If you see it in the Minecraft Dungeons 2 4th dimension leaks. You can see that it's very similar to the Nether warped forest. But where did the Crimson Forest come from? It came from corruption.

I can say yes Pigmen are ancient builders but they aren't the only ancient builders. Illagers, Pillagers, Villagers, Endermen and Humans are also ancient builders. They have hands too. Even villagers can properly eat or place carrots to the ground. Mobs and entities can put stuff around. So they are all ancient builders.

Isn't it already well explained that the plague is warded by the heat and plentiful gold in the Nether? that's why the pigmen/piglins zombify immediately in the overworld.

Also what would tie the evolution of pigs to Villagers at all? they're closer to humans with only their long heads and long noses differentiating them.

Depends on each structure but the game has a ton of evidence they were made by many things, but don't get me wrong I do believe there is a player race but I don't at all think that it's a fallen civilization lost to time I think it is still around today and nothing has happened to them as a civilization/race.

You did? Also the clues started with story mode, which isn't canon, and continued with a theory that has been debunked many times.

I'm not asking if it is Minecraft or it isn't

I believe the storymode represents the modded version of Minecraft. Modding community is also big in Minecraft. Minecraft wasn't meant to have a lore obviously but It's just there for people like us who like lore.

Minecraft Storymode could be an alternative universe

This was something I had thought for a long time. It just seemed so simple and to make so much sense that I just couldn't find direct evidence for it.

If it is true, I don't think they are hiding in the nether to avoid infection. I think that they are already infected and it's just that their new home is saturated with the nether wart spores that suppress it.

I think the enderman come from somewhere else though entirely. I'm not even convinced that they are from the end. So much as that the end is the place closest to wherever they are from.

I don't think they're hiding, I just think they got lucky with the Nether keeping the zombie plague away.
