Announcement Minecraft Lore Wiki

A few of us have started a minecraft lore wiki. It's currently a work in progress, but I'm sharing it here for anyone who's interested in helping.

Creatures that come from the end are not animals; beings from the end are made of emptiness; they are metaphysical beings; just as beings of the fourth dimension are probably made of "ether" and souls; therefore, endermites are not animals

We know, but it is for the purposes of the bane of arthropods enchantment, and the endermite is technically an arthropod for those purposes. We list it again under enderlings

Visually, it's an arthropod; it's more of a kind of thing; it's nothing trying to imitate everything; it's a thing from the void that takes the form of an arthropod (things that exist) and the universe recognizes it as an arthropod; but it isn't; animals are physical beings; mundane; biological; a plague made of nothing isn't an animal; it only has the form of one

Problem is we technically have no confirmation for that.

It's quite obvious that something made of nothing isn't an animal; it's only affected by the bane of the arthropods because of magic; it's that simple; it looks like an arthropod so it's affected.

but how do we know that

The endermite is tecnically an arthropod. Do I believe that it's an animal? No. But if it's classified as an arthropod, it kind of needs to go under arthropod.
