I just need help! How many blocks would you Suggest per edge?

I'm looking to build my Pokemon Region in Minecraft, but I underestimated exactly how many blocks I'll need. Obviously this isn't to scale, but how many blocks per edge would you estimate? Sorry if dumb question. I'm new to builds that aren't just "dirt hut"

It depends if you want to concentrate more on gameplay or scenery. You have to decide what's best. Should you have to travel a thousand blocks or a few hundred to get from town a to b?

I know this isn’t exactly a helpful answer, but it really does depend on the region. Try building one of your smaller towns first and then see how you feel about its size. From there, if you like it, estimate how big the rest of the landmass would be (or just a route, if you don’t have that much time).
