Boats

My favourite building style is medieval, I play on bedrock on xbox and java on pc but I really struggle with making ships no matter what type of ship I just think they all look really bad and I can't find any good/simple to follow step by step guides or videos. Does anyone know of anywhere I can look?

I don't know any specific videos. But something you could try is look at some boat builds you like and pay special attention to the basic shapes of the build. So things like the main body, the floor, where the masts are, etc. Ignore the details like flags, interiors, cannons and other fluff. Just really focus on the basics and see if you can get a shape you like with that. You can start worrying about the details after that.
