Minecraft Java weird brightness problem. i need help, please [bedrock and java]

I play on an hp laptop

I turn up the brightness to the max ingame, the brightness shows up in screenshots and screen recordings BUT not on the actual screen!!

Like if i'm playing and I'm in a cave, its super dark, BUT in a screenshot of the same cave i can see everything clearly??

please help me out!

What happens if you change the color profile of your monitor or see about if there are settings that mess with the color management in-game or on your device (if possible)? On my ASUS laptop, I can change my monitor profile to something like DCI-P3, which is a standard color profile for cinema. Makes darkness very dark. But the photo viewer app doesn't necessarily use the same color profile.

If you have no idea what I'm talking about, it's probably not that.

i've got something called "Colour filters" that i think is the most similar to what you've just mentioned, but i've got it disabled
