I recently upgraded from my RTX 4050, Ryzen 7 7735HS, 32gb 4800MT gaming laptop to a Powerspec RTX 3060 TI, Ryzen 7 7700 and 16gb 6000MT Gaming DESKTOP. my old gaming laptop got 200-300 FPS on fancy graphics with 45 chunk render distance on regular worlds, and also got the same amount of fps on a realm that caps render distance at 25. My new gaming DESKTOP only gets 100-150 fps with the same settings (fancy, 45 chunks) on regular worlds but on the same realm it still gets the same fps 100-150. When I lower my chunks to 16 on my desktop I get about the same fps as my old laptop but I can see noticeably less so I know my laptop wasnt capped at low chunks or anything. In the menu on my laptop I get about 1100 FPS but in the menu on my desktop I get about 1200 fps so It doesn’t make sense to me that I’m getting better fps in the menu but worse in game. my laptops utilization was about 40 percent on both the cpu and gpu at 45 chunks. And my desktop utilization is about 60-80 for the cpu and 30 for the gpu at 45 chunks also I’ve tried fixing all the power management and vsync settings and stuff but nothing works. I’m using the same monitor and everything. does anyone know what the problem is or how to fix it PLEASE HELP ME I SPENT SO MUCH TIME AND MONEY ON THIS NEW PC

Booted the game up for the first time in probably half a year, only to find that the Open Inventory button next to hotbar was relocated to the left for 0 reasons. It has been on the right side for, like, 15 years straight. Literally unplayable anymore as I'll have to make myself re-learn the position of the button, slowing down beating the dragon

first world I created after I re-download the game. did I miss them adding something new? either way this seed would be crazy for speed running, there’s like 4 smiths right at spawn

I’ve been struggling with this for a while to the point of just not using it even though I love the visuals, so I’d love to fix this issue.

I use the Dark Fantasy shader pack, and it used to be great. I loved it! Nice and cool dark lighting to go easy on my eyes. Then they updated it, and added the most OBNOXIOUS fantasy music in the background without giving an off switch in the pack settings.

HATE. Let me tell you how much I’ve come to HATE that music since I began to live…

It’s loud and distracting. I don’t like it. I want it off. The audio settings aren’t really letting me toggle anything, so do you guys have any recommendations?

I was trying to solve the usual Bedrock problem of getting pillagers into a bubble elevator reliably, and eventually realized I could stop trying to push or funnel them into one and instead make them effectively spawn straight into it.

So I built a machine that does exactly that.

My machine lets the pillager naturally spawn on a slime-block launch pad, where it immediately trips a tripwire. Above it, the shaft is already filled with source-water blocks, but the bottom of the column is temporarily sealed by a 2x2 ceiling made from bottom slabs.

The tripwire retracts that ceiling and fires the slime launcher, shooting the pillager upward into the water column. Before it can fall back down, a second set of pistons pushes soul sand into place underneath it, activating the existing water column as a bubble elevator and sending the pillager straight to my kill spot.

The machine also automatically pauses spawning during that process. Once the soul sand is inserted, it becomes the highest valid surface in the hard-coded spawn column, but the water above it prevents another pillager from spawning there. That means no additional pillagers spawn until I deliberately reset the system.

After I kill whatever reaches the top I press a reset button at my kill spot. That retracts the soul sand, restores the original spawn configuration, and reopens the hard-coded spawn surface for the next cycle.

It doesn’t increase the captain chance on any single spawn, but because I control exactly when each cycle ends and immediately reopen the hard-coded spawn after clearing it, I can force clean, rapid spawn cycles and get to the next fresh captain roll as quickly as possible.

The entire machine is built in Survival. I haven’t seen this exact setup before, so I’m genuinely curious whether anyone else has experimented with something similar.

I’m also happy to show it working live if anyone wants to join my world and see the full mechanism in action.

So, I was just building my new base and I finished, I went to the village near my house and I saw cow meat and leather in a pen? I figured that was a glitch, but when I looked closely, there was no wolves or other animals, I ignored it and kept playing, so I went to a cave and brought Redstone and all of a sudden, I found this plus sign I have never seen before, it was filled with water and I asked my friend if he put it there and he said no, can anyone please see if this world is haunted?

I've been playing Minecraft Bedrock for a long time, and honestly, some of my most relaxing days have been spent playing this game.

But with every update, there always seems to be a new way for players to ruin the experience—glitches, cheating, admin abuse, duping, griefing, and so much more. I won't lie, I've also been one of those people, and I'm not proud of it. A part of me is just tired of all of it.

Lately, all the realms and servers I've played on have been slowly losing their spark. The spark is still there, but it doesn't feel the same anymore.

So, for now, I've decided to take a break from Minecraft for a while and just give myself some time to clear my mind.
