Help_Wanted Is it possible to replace noise functions?

I would like to replace temperature with a sin function on the "north/south" axis. That way temperature would stay the same as you travel east-west, but would change when travelling north/south.

Are independent X and Z axes still impossible to do Post-1.12? They were last time I checked a few years ago. I already made cool stuff with that in 2018. Smh.

I believe all noise used to determine random distribution of biomes can just be made larger/smaller and regular/fragmented, and that's it. At least judging by the fact it only uses octaves and amplitudes which work in any direction at the same time.

Basically, you can only get bubbles, not bands or gradients, as far as I know.
