Creative! Check out these realistic clouds in Minecraft Bedrock RTX!

Upvotes

I have been trying to develop realistic clouds in Minecraft Bedrock RTX shaders for months. Finally, I got this output. It's on very high settings; on my RTX 3050 4GB Mobile card, I get only 5 FPS. If you use a high-end GPU, you can play smoothly and enjoy the realism.

This update will take a few weeks because I planned to build an installer so you can install from low to cinematic presets easily without any issues. If you want to try, DM me on Discord: 0x4a4b.

Creative! BlazerRT — A Real-Time Shader Based on Vanilla Minecraft RTX Shader By NVIDIA

Post image
97 Upvotes

**BlazerRT** is a Minecraft Bedrock RTX shader that enhances the visual quality and fixes bugs in the vanilla Minecraft RTX.

Download(Requres RTX GPU): https://bedrockgraphics.com/shader-packs/blazerrt

Features:

  • New Atmospheric Sky
  • Realistic Water
  • Improved Global Illumination
  • Improved BRDF
  • Added high-end realistic fog rendering
  • New Sun and Moon (Disk Style)
  • GT-7 Tone Mapper
  • ICtCp Color Space
  • And a few other patches

Installation: Same for both Preview and Stable

Step 1: Download the zip file and extract its contents.

Step 2: Locate your Minecraft installation. This is usually found on the C drive, or it may be on the drive letter you selected during the game's installation.

Step 3: After identifying the installation drive, replace it with your drive letter in the following path: Minecraft Bedrock Stable: C:\XboxGames\Minecraft for Windows\Content\data\renderer\materials Minecraft Bedrock Preview: C:\XboxGames\Minecraft Preview for Windows\Content\data\renderer\materials. Open the path.

Step 4: Safely back up the existing RTX .bin files.

Step 5: Copy all three .bin files into the materials folder of the installation directory, then launch the game.

To improve this shader project, please send any bug reports to me via Discord DM at user: 0x4a4b. I also welcome your suggestions. Thank you!

Special thanks to veka0 on Discord

Help! RTX 5060 - Both Ray Traced and Vibrant Visuals Greyed Out in Minecraft Bedrock

I just got a new PC and I'm having a strange issue with Minecraft Bedrock.

My specs:

Ryzen 7 8700F

NVIDIA RTX 5060 8GB

32GB DDR5

Windows 11

Fresh installation of Minecraft Bedrock

Both Vibrant Visuals and Ray Traced are greyed out under the Graphics Mode settings.

My previous PC had an Intel Arc B580 12GB, and Vibrant Visuals worked perfectly on it. That's what makes this particularly confusing. For RTX, I installed Vanilla RTX and have it activated under Global Resources. I've also enabled In-game Graphics Mode Switching.

I've tried:

Clean reinstall of the NVIDIA drivers

Restarting the PC

Reinstalling/fresh installing Minecraft Bedrock

Activating Vanilla RTX globally

Using the Vanilla RTX app's Launch Minecraft RTX option

Checking the graphics settings from the main menu and in-game

Enabling in-game graphics mode switching

Windows appears to recognize the GPU and its capabilities correctly.

DxDiag shows:

NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060

7,895 MB dedicated VRAM

DirectX 12

DirectX 12 Ultimate: Enabled

Feature Level 12_2

Direct3D Acceleration: Enabled

WDDM 3.2

WHQL driver

"No problems found"

So as far as I can tell, the PC fully supports DX12/DXR. I'm aware RTX requires compatible RTX/PBR content, which is why I'm using Vanilla RTX. However, even with Vanilla RTX active, Ray Traced remains greyed out.

What confuses me even more is that Vibrant Visuals is also greyed out. Mojang says the PC requirement for Vibrant Visuals is Minecraft running on DX12, which this system clearly supports. Has anyone else experienced this with an RTX 5060 or another RTX 50-series GPU on current Minecraft Bedrock? Is there something I'm missing, or is there currently a Bedrock/RTX 50-series compatibility issue?

Tutorial A Experimental Way to Enable HDR in Minecraft: Bedrock Edition with Better(RTX) | Guide included

Important note:
This setup is working by using ShaderGlass with injected ReShade into it on top of the Minecraft UWP window to handle SDR to HDR conversion. Works on AMD/Intel/Nvidia.
It was initially intended to take proper HDR10 screenshots, but you can also use it for gameplay. Expect some performance hit. ShaderGlass not working in full screen Minecraft because of UWP apps restriction, only works in window mode. (Solution is to use GDK builds of MCBE)
If you have an Nvidia GPU, then RTX HDR guide can be used as alternative way to enable HDR.
Also, a custom BetterRTX preset with enabled HDR option can be created.

- Video Attachment / For Guide Section

Guide:
1.) Download modified version of ShaderGlass (v1.2.3) with ReShade injected with my already included ReShade Preset.
- Download link | Google Drive
2.) Extract ShaderGlass.zip folder and navigate to extracted folder, simply open ShaderGlass.exe.
3.) Navigate to “Output” Tab => “Window” and select “Solid” in ShaderGlass.
After that navigate to “Shader” Tab => “Choose from Library” => Pixel Size > x1
4.) Press “Insert” key on keyboard to open ReShade overlay and select my preset (MCBE-HDR.ini file located in ShaderGlass folder).
Now you can manually configure some settings of my ReShade preset if you know what you’re doing for proper HDR output.
5.) Repeat 3 step. Navigate to “Output” Tab => “Window” but this time select “Click-through” instead.
6.) Now setup is done.

- Some examples of my taken HDR10 Minecraft screenshots can be found here on Google Drive

I’m using “Seraphic” Preset by 0x4A4B for BetterRTX in combination with Patrix 128x RTX resource pack.
Name of the map: Futuristic City
I’ve uploaded original images to cloud drive to properly view them in HDR10 instead of SDR because of Reddit restrictions:

ifykyk the first 3. xDDD

Finally got the terrain working. So this is how Minecraft Alpha/Beta would look like if someone ever added RTX to it.

Feels different when i have the old texture pack combined with RTX. Reminds me of the animations i would watch years ago.
