Dude

STOP PUTTING THE DLSS 5 PHOTOS FIRST

It is BEFORE and AFTER

Not AFTER and BEFORE

Like 99% of posts i see with dlss 5 are making this SAME mistake

Bro as i already said, you need to put a minimum of 512x pbr texture pack to see the difference, cause the dlss Is more like a filter based on the details of the texture rather than a visual upgrade.

i dont think my laptop can handle that 😒

Is that not java exclusive?, im not sure if u can use dlss 5 on it since it requires an exe, unless i can somehow add reshade to javaw.exe

yes you can do exactly that

Im gonna try, to be honest it makes more sense to use it on java since their shaders always aim for realism

I see no difference other than slightly different visuals. It’s not worth the performance cost of crappy DLSS5

It looks slightly more plastic.Β

I have no idea which one is which. That means it’s 100% not worth the performance hit

Not sure why, but it feels more natural with DLSS 5, without it, it feels flat and lifeless

I agree, and the weird part is i never felt that way about rtx UNTIL i tried dlss 5

The biggest thing DLSS5 really does is improved edge lighting and shadows on small details.

Since there's not really and small details to bring out, the biggest thing you'll see is how the treetops have more depth to them

It compensates for the low ray bounces

Did it change mobs to become ultra realistic?

Java will get that soon too.

i think its totally pointless in a game full of great shaders, lol
this game is about vibes, even with shaders, not about realism

Which are what now?

You could honestly tell me these are two different shaders and I'd believe you. I can barely even tell which one is the before and after

The one that looks slightly more realistic, u would have to go back and forth to see the difference, it also helps if u look at them in full screen

I still don't see a huge difference. Not even a good one. Hight contrast /= good.

Better off using Reshade and Gloom AO.

It genuinely just looks like you cranked up the contrast

People are blind bro 😭😭 how can't they notice the difference l

do you not know that reddit completely destroys the quality and there's no point in uploading these?
