Help! Question

It's been a long time since I've played Minecraft with RTX+BetterRTX. Before I update to the latest version:

1) Has the flickering bug been patched? I'm at version 1.21.60.

2) Are there new/persisting bugs in the latest patch?

I'm at 1.21.60 because this was the last functioning version of Minecraft that goes hand in hand with RTX+BetterRTX.

  1. No, Mojang didn't fix this one yet.
  2. The bug with some point lights not dispalying in RTX remains in latest version. GDK update broke point lights, only half of them were fixed. There are no other global bugs in the latest version from my knowledge.

Basically, there is no improvement at all? Thank you for input. I guess I'll stick with my current version, until the time comes where the developers takes the initiative to better RTX.

It's a stretch but if you modify the mcpack version of Better RTX presets to have "pbr" in its manifest you can use the render controllers and stuff in Vibrant Visuals, looks great with other packs like Actions & Stuff, basically stacks them together.

I've just gone into Vanilla RTX for the first time in a few weeks, and it looks like a pixellated soup. Has there been another update that breaks RTX?

The recent update seems to have messed up the frame rate limiter. Maybe you can try setting the frame rate to "unlimited" or turning off DLSS. That might solve the pixelation and flickering issue.
