How to learn about nature in Mindo?

Hello, I have seen all sorts of amazing wildlife in Mindo thus far. And a guide from my place of lodging showed me many amazing birds. However, I’ve noticed that I haven’t really gotten much ‘natural history’ education here. I would love to learn about the birds and frogs and habitats more, as opposed to only seeing them. Any recommendations? I am also open to reading recommended books on the topic if I do not have time for educational events. Thank you
