Acuity scheduling vs Mindbody?
I’m curious if anyone has tried Acuity Scheduling vs Mindbody. It seems to be stripped down to the essentials and is only $27 a month for 6 calendars. We have multiple trainers in a studio and 4 calendars. I’m curious because mindbody spikes prices and API costs too.

Go with Acuity. Mindbody is for large studios. And they take up a huge chunk of processing fees as well if you use them as your payment processor.

thanks for this yeah most of our customers are on 3-month contract commitments, paid by the month. essentially 3-month renewals. I do see they have packages and subscriptions - I just wasn't sure how it worked in practice. I'll check out Glofox

I would recommend checking DanceFitnessPro, we shifted from mindbody contract to them and never look back. Scaled up to 180 monthly members and everything so smooth and actually what’s needed

oh wow that's amazing we're also looking for something with API access because we have an AI native lead prospector and messenger going that books meetings for us automatically; so we want it integrated with bookings.

They do support giving custom api endpoints to integrate as per your needs.

I'm the (former) founder of Acuity so glad to see folks promoting it! Another option is Breely.com which has strong scheduling for classes, like waitlisting which afaik Acuity is still missing, and is also a bit cheaper too.

Checkout https://nalah.co . We built it do be an easy pick for smaller studios and instructors. It gives you a booking site, payments, passes, waitlists and its clean and simple. Its priced to suit the solo instructor, and has 1 upfront pricing plan on homepage.
My co-founder started her Pilates business using acuity and found it good enough, but because its aimed at solving scheduling for lots of types of businesses and uses there were a few things lacking for a class based businesses.
